This affiliate disclosure explains, in plain language, how ShopfrontStack makes money: some links on this site are affiliate links, and if you click one and then buy a plan, the website builder may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra — prices are identical whether you arrive through our link or type the address yourself.
How the /go/ links work
Every link to a builder on this site points to an internal route that starts with /go/ — for example, /go/wix or /go/squarespace. That route forwards you to the builder's own website, through an affiliate program where one exists. We use this pattern deliberately, so every paid relationship is visible in the link itself: if the address says /go/, assume we may earn a commission.
What commissions never change
The rankings. Scores on ShopfrontStack come from three tests — real monthly cost, time to launch, and lead capture — and commission rates are not one of them. A builder that pays us nothing is ranked by the same tests as one that pays well, and the unflattering parts stay published either way: renewal jumps, plans that can't take payments, and domain-transfer policies that hold your address hostage are all documented on our best website builder for small business page, partners included.
